Mayor Quinton Lucas (D) recently introduced a proposed ordinance that would eliminate pre-employment marijuana testing for most city government positions, with exceptions where the "employee could significantly impact the health or safety of other employees or members of the public."

Amazon recently announced that they plan to stop drug testing many positions for marijuana. But they aren't stopped there, they also plan to join the movement by actively lobbying Congress to end marijuana prohibition across the country.

Good news for Arizonans who have had difficulties finding employment opportunities, occupational licenses, and housing: House Bill 2067, recently signed into law by Gov. Doug Ducey, allows many with certain criminal offenses to set aside prior convictions.
